Red Bull won the Formula 1 Constructors Championship yesterday in Brazil. I can't believe they sell this stuff for that. And it's not even autographed! Check out some of the prices on this stuff. You can always buy a signed helmet for $25,000.00 ! Bill T.

The model probably took hundreds of hours to build, but 15000 Pounds for a REPLICA helmet !  ???
Even with the diamonds that's a butt load of money for a helmet you can't actually use.
It's a butt load of money for one you CAN use.
But the model is darn nice work, wish I could do half as nice a job.

For five grand I want to be able to drive Danica, or at least one of the poster models. ;D Look at it this way, if these idiots weren't relieved of their money they'd just hurt somebody with it.

I have a 1/18 replica, at one point it was worth almost a grand (I paid $130 for it). But, it was a limited run of Dan Gurney's winning Cobra Daytona Coupe, and the limited run of that model drove the market up. When I went to sell it though, the market had tanked thanks to the sub-prime silliness that ultimately cost me my job, early market failures, bailouts, etc. Last I saw I might get - before fees etc. - maybe $250 for it.

OTOH, that was a few years ago - I should look again . . . . .  ;)
