Grits Gresham passed away today. I remember growing up in 1960's either reading his articles or watching him on television. He was a man of humor, intelligence and had class (something missing quite a lot these days). I would be interested if anyone has any anecdotes or thoughts on the man. The shooting, hunting and fishing communities lost a great one. My condolences to his son Tom and other loved ones.

The funeral home link is down (Batesville problem not link), so I'm not sure who all is in the family. I'm sorry if I miss someone.
My best to Tom and the rest of his family in this difficult time. The Grubers with the loss of the General, Rob Leatham with the loss of his father this year, and now Grits. These times are tough for everyone, but when you are in the public eye it is that much harder. Take care and remember that it only hurts because the times and memories were good.

I hate to hear that. Grits was one of the good guys.
