Title: There Goes The Neighborhood!
Post by: fightingquaker13 on November 12, 2010, 11:52:32 AM
You know, I've often said that what South Florida, particularly Palm Beach County, needs is more weirdness. After all, we're far too normal. ::) Well my "prayers" were answered today. It Seems Earth First! (mustn't forget the exclamation point or they get cranky) has decided to move from Arizona to Lake Worth, just 5 miles south of me. (screw you Billt, stop laughing! ;D).
I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. On the one hand I hate developers who seem determined to turn the whole state into a series of strip malls and gated communities with only enough roads for 1/3 of the traffic. On the flip side, I despise eco-terrorists. Its kind of like having Karl Rove move in next to James Carville. You know there's going to be shooting. You actually look forward to it and don't really care who wins as long as at least one them gets shot. Its a lot less fun when you live across the street though. :-\

Glass them for awhile, check out their equipment and arm yourself appropriately. It should be great fun to wait till the shooting starts then chime in from across the street. No one will know.

Hey, at least you'll have free entertainment when there's nothing on television.

Get a stuffed squirrel and throw it into traffic where they will see it.
Then count how many you can cause to get hit by cars  ;D
 Like this   ;D

Even by my standards, that's evil. Funny, in a perverse sort of way, but very, very wrong.
FQ13 who WILL NOT LAUGH at an animal rights wacko running themselves into a canal to save squirrel. I AM NOT LAUGHING! Oh, hell, of course I'm laughing. I'm off to the corner. ;D

Bring beer, Deepwater is back and we are running low  ;D

That clip was filmed on the road to the  Back gate of the former Pease Air Force Base  not far from where I was living.

I recommend they chain themselves to a nice sturdy palm trees adjoining the Gator Pond. Kinda like the Perkins all you can eat tree hugger, that became bear food out west.

Perhaps this winter they can use up some carbon credits keeping the iguanas warm.... ::)

At least they are in Palm Beach County. ;)

Skip Broward I recommend Hialeah, or anywhere South of the Dade County Line,...

Maybe they just have standards. ::)
