Came across this phrase which was used as an inscription on weapons in the past.
It was new to me and thought it might be new to others.
With Christmas heading our way, it might make a good inscription to have engraved on the weapons one might be giving to loved ones.
A "non macho" expression of the intent and capability of SD weapons. That phrase alone may prompt those reluctant to posses a firearm to consider the befefits.
"Be not afraid of any man, No matter what his size;
When danger threatens, call on me, And I will equalize."
Inscribed on rifles during the 19th century.
"No matter what His strength or size
Depend on me I equalize."
Short verse often engraved on handguns
presented to the woman in one's life.

My advice? Never inscribe an SD weapon. It makes you look like a gunfighter to a jury at worst and as slightly weird at best. No prosecuter outside of Texas or Maricopa County will think its cool. ;) Save the twenty bucks and spend it on ammo. Just my .02.

Only time I thought inscribing a SD weapon was appropriate was an article I'd read in an old gun mag....the author, a LEO, had his backup pistol inscribed with his name so that no one would think he was carrying a "throwdown gun"....this was back when backup guns weren't too popular with LEO admins....
Still makes sense today....as long as you're not planning to sell/trade it off.....

So what did he use as his "throw down gun"? ;D
FQ13 who would seriously think about carrying one if I were a LEO in this political climate. :P
