Title: cool new(for me) .45
Post by: texcaliber on February 21, 2008, 06:40:35 PM
I shot a S&W M&P45 darkearth model with the slide safeties. At first i thought there was not going to be a positive outlook for the gun. But after a little trigger time WOW! i have found a new favorite. I cant understand how but with the small palmswell in it feels like a single stack. A very important note is the lack of muzzle flip. Shooting 250 rounds of 230gr. ball going 840f/s  and 100rds. of Golden Saber 185+P the only problem was wanting more.
I only shot at 7yds. but 1 ragged 5shot holes were easy, speed drills were fast, and my shooting buddies were saying "hope i don't use that against them in this years competition!"
NO JOKE! Think i found a winner.  8)

howdy 2HOW, it was new. right out of the box I loaded mags full+chamber(10+1) and after the first 2mags changed the grip from med. to small and stuck with it.
