hey my dad is lookin for a new shotgun to replace stolen guns. he found a masieri in good shape for $295, but he doesnt know anything about this gun...any info would be nice....thanx
-
From what I can remember(which sometimes isn't much) The Masieri's were an Italian made Franchi AL48 clone
Decently made.Pretty reliable.May now be a little difficult finding repair/replacement parts.
I think $295 is a little high unless it's in very good/excellent condition.

it looks to be in real good shape but i havent seen the gun personally...only pics :-\

Is your Father able to handle and fire the gun before buying?
If he is,and he's happy with the fit, feel, firing, cycling and appearance of the gun
Then he wouldn't be making a mistake if he bought it.
and depending on his bargaining skills,he may be able to negotiate a lower price since it's an "old" gun.

i dont think he can fire the gun but he has handled it and likes the feel of it...he said the chamber looks good and there are no pits in the barrel or action bars

here is a link if u want to see pics of the gun

If the inner workings are in the same condition as the exterior.
then I'd classify the guns condition as very fine/excellent and worth the $295 price.
But seeing as I'm cheap.I'd still haggle a little bit.
