Title: Re: seasons greetings
Post by: Pecos Bill on December 19, 2010, 07:16:11 PM
I'm posting this as a new thread so that all who saw my previous post of "seasons greetings" Won't have to read thru to the bottom to see this.

I posted seasons greetings in an attempt at humor and to poke a little sarcasm at those who insist on being politically correct. I'm sorry that several members couldn't seem to figure that out. I didn't want to offend anyone that was just something I got in an e-mail a couple years ago and thought was silly enough to pass on. I like to send that just before I send my true seasons wishes. I hope you can understand my intent and forgive my stupidity.

If you think anyone was ofended you need to get out more. ;D Honestly, folks will let you know when you offend them. Heck, they render that service to me almost every day. Generally, I thank them for the update and their consideration in reading my post, then invite them to KMA, but in the nicest way possible of course. ;D Seriously, no one was offended. And if they were? F@ck them if they can't take a joke. Welcome aboard. ;)

Pecos....

We've requested a "Sarcasm" emoticon from management for some time, don't take it personally!

We all got the joke.......keep up the sarcasm, it's an enjoyable refrain from the reality of political correct behavior!

Best!

Thanks guys, but when someone posts in BIG letters "BITE ME" I feel I have offended someone. I'm not taking it personally I just don't want to offend any one. Hell FQ if you took the poo that's thrown at you personally you wouldn't have any personality left.

It was meant as humor but I guess there are some who have no humor about Christmas.

Sorry about that!

I have an actual "Bite Me" key on the key board so I don't have to type it every time.

There is not enough space on the forum for me to give all the rules concerning my smart mouth fingers, but if you truly offend, irritate or tick me off you will get a personal message about it.  Beyond that I am either venting or expressing my views.  Actually, if you really tick me off I will either blow up your monitor (M'ette lent me her special button for that) or just ignore you.

Please don't back down from anyone that posts that way - serious or otherwise.  It is our freedom to vent that way that makes this place both valuable and fun.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings, because you really didn't hurt mine.

We should just take matters in our hands and use green text to post sarcastic posts. Not my idea but something I see on another forum I visit.

Hey Mac, if you want to steal it feel free I stole it from the guy who sent it to me. I usually send it out e-mail. Believe me guys my feelings weren't hurt I just don't want to hurt any one else's. As for as someone getting smart assed with me you have no idea how bad I can get. I was once told that I can be .... abrasive is the word he used ... at times.

For those of you who say your wives don't think your brain works normal, mine some times accuses me of not having one to work. I won't move to the land down under there gun laws or worse than ours. Hell I hear they outlawed swords?

Have a merry and a happy and all that good rot.

Equal Employment Opportunity. (enforced by the EEO Commission)
Under the laws enforced by EEOC, it is illegal to discriminate against someone (applicant or employee) because of that person's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information.

So an employer can't just hire the first qualified applicants they get.
They have to make sure all the race and age bases are covered.  ::)

Ah well that explains why I failed the mandatory course 3 times LOL it also explains why we employ a bunch of people that cant speak or write english to deal with a english speaking client base....
Then wtf would I know I is a gun toting, southern bred redneck who likes to shoot things, eat meat and yell waahooo when I gets all excited and such :-)
