That was about the dumbest article I have read lately. Of course they had to through something about AK 47's in there. Then they talk about the kid putting a toy gun in his pants like a "gangster". Wounder where he saw that? Home maybe? ???

I'm afraid that the people of the northeastern US seem to be completely lost.

The NYC Libertarian Party organized a "Guns for Tots" giveaway a few years back in response to something like this. Maybe we should do the same. It would make the news and be funny as hell, also relatively cheap.

The Kalifornistan contingent, too.  Maybe we can organize a movement to give Kalifornistan back to Mexico, and let the Amer-Indians have the Northeast.  I think it'd be a whole lot easier to get the votes for a fence if it was blocking-off those two areas, too.   Of course, we would have to provide a period of time for people with sense to come over before we closed the gate.  But after the grace period, I'd be good with a shoot on sight policy.  I just need time to get my grandkids (and my daughter and her right-thinking husband) out, but that could be done in less than a week.

Who's up for a movement?

Offered as an alternative by a p!$$ed-off Rabbit.

Make that "Southern New England".
Maine, NH and Vermont have better gun laws than Texas. Vermont was the original no permit CCW state, Me. and NH , Form wants Address, 3 references and $10, Up to 2 weeks for the Chief Of Police to get around to signing it and your done. No regulations on Open carry.
