I've got a buddy who has a model 66 6'' stainless revolver. The adjustable rear sights are loose and wiggle around in a ridiculous bad way. He likes the gun alot, and would like to upgrade the rear sight if possible.
He is a real good guy, disabled gulf war vet. He has no internet skills. Mine are not much better.
Does anybody have a good idea of an aftermarket solution, like a fixed sight that is more robust.
I read a post on one forum that said smith and wesson sights may fit, but they look a bit different.
I will call Taurus, but thought I would run it past the forum.
Thanks....

there is a thread about just this very issue on THR.
Thier server is currently busy, other wise I'd find it for you. had a couple fixs as well as after market sites.
is it the adjustable part of the site thats moving or the whole thing?

The rear sight blade wiggles around like the wheels on a matchbox toy car. I guess he has tried to adjust them, without improvement.
He would like to use the gun for open carry while taking the dog for walks around his back country property, but has no confidence in the sights.
I tried to find the thread on THR, but could not.
