He seems to be one of these End Times prohecy guys who wants to put last weeks headlines into the Book of Revelations and predict the apococalypse. Stiil, folks say he is  good read. Personally, I'd buy used, but if you're into this sort of thing, he's sold a whole lot of books. Might be an entertaining read.

Are you asking about Joel C (Last Jihad) or Joel (Sci/Fi-Fantasy and 2A activist)? Never read any of the former’s stuff and the latter’s stuff is ok if you are in the mood for formula sword and sorcery with a little undertone of social commentay.

I was refering to the former. He used to be in right wing politics and now runs a Christian group. His works run to End Times thriller type stuff. If its the the latter I goofed. My bad. :-[

OOPS... FQ got it right the first time. If I would have bothered to actually read wtr100's whole post before I ran for the keyboard I would have had the answer to my question and not looked like a fool... oh well I'm used to that.

Joel C. Rosenberg- FQ's answers/ description apply to him. Many people seem to like this type of ficton, I've never read any of his work but I have hear good reviews from some people who have.

Joel Rosenberg- Writes science fiction, fantasy and 2A/concealed carry artices. The books are not bad if you are into that type of thing. Have not read any of his 2A stuff but I know he has been arrested a couple of times for "pushing buttons" while advocating legal carry issues. Met him once a a book signing and he was very passionate about carry issues almost to the point he talked more about them than the book he was there to sign.
