Attention California Residents
Effective Feb. 1, 2011, a new law will make it ILLEGAL for California residents to
purchase handgun ammo via the internet or mail order. Our California customers
have until Jan. 21, 2011 to order and ensure delivery before time runs out.
Happy New Year Kalifornia....Way to go. :-\

So tell me again, why there are any firearm manufacturers, industry events / shows or major competitions in this miserable state? >:(

Trying to counter the socialist propaganda, and let the normal American's that are still trapped there know that they are not alone.

Not a good enough reason. 90% of the "progressive", PC, commie crap that is wrong with this country seems to start in that wretched state. I say abandon them to that hell of their own making until they get some sense. Not one more penny should be wasted there.

Didn't Tom volunteer to work on the fault line with a pry bar, not too long ago? ;D I don't think it would take too much "arm twisting" to form a whole crew. Maybe we should be productive and go there when we're naughty, instead of the corner.

there are a few fualts he needs to work on. if the bay area and most of the LA area were to fall into the ocean, ca would be drasticly diffrent.

If I pry on the Hayward Fault I can get SF, Oakland and Berkley.
Not sure about LA but the resulting tidal surge probably would not do them any good.
Hey Mauserman, don't you have some errands in the mountains ? ;D

I used to agree with Tom on the idea of locating manufacture and competitions in California. Because they continue to take our money and still fight us, I have switched to Haz's thinking. The gun culture needs to turn its back on California! With every company and event that leaves the state it needs to be stressed that the anti-gun mood has "forced" the change. This same message needs to be included in the history statements of every company and organization that has left California.
Leave the State of California, do it loudly, and make sure everyone remembers for decades to come!

If we leave, just think of the stuff that will get passed if we don't fight it?
you think its bad now, wait until it spreads. Historicaly, stuff that starts in CA spreads nation wide.
-
It's the same BS they passed last year in the PACT Act. They made it illegal to send cigarette tobacco via USPS, UPS, FedEx, or ANY other type of delivery service anywhere in the US. That was a contributing factor in the lowering of stats for internet sales this year!

They are passing the stuff anyways! They need to 'pay' for their progressive, feel good BS! If they want us back they can then CHANGE their ways. Until then, SCREW Commiefornia!

all thats going to do is make it worse.

Not doing it has not made it any better! You know the definition of insanity don't ya?
-
How is it going to make it worse TAB? Today they are passing laws that hinder the Second Amendment Rights of their legal citizens while reaping the benefits of firearms industry being present in the form of manufacturing, customizing, and competitions that bring not only visitors spending money but also advertising for tourism. Sounds to me like it is time to take away the benefits to the economy that the firearms industry is providing.
If a business posts that firearms are not welcome in their establishment, do you still patronize them? If a legislator votes to register or tax firearms, do you vote them back in? If a neighbor rants about the evils of hunting, do you share your harvest with them? If a government hinders your business, do you continue to operate in their state?
It is time for the firearms industry to punish California and its citizens for their infringement of Second Amendment Rights!
-
If "people" like TAB had any balls at all they would have crawled up on their hind legs decades ago. This is after all a Republic, NOT a Democracy, but if the voter thinks he'll get something for free he will not only sell his honor and his country, you can probably rent his wife or daughter fairly cheap as well.

Tom, I'm at the capitol for just about every single rally and the like, I call and write my reps atleast once a month. Hell I've even gone shooting with my rep. So its not like I don't make my feelings known.
Its the people that do nothing, reguardless of how they feel that are the ones to blame.

I should not have singled you out, I started to go with another argument but got side tracked.
The problem is with the entire voting public. In 1775 we killed the King's soldiers for exactly the same thing that Ca. is doing, but "Citizens" today are a bunch of cowards more concerned with their own safety and comfort than with defending their country and their principals (assuming they have any ).
We have a Government that is gathering UN allies against one of our own State's for trying to enforce the law.
And the sheep worry who will win on "Dancing with the Stars".
The blind argue about the morality of abortion while our whole economy is being fu*ked.
The fools are upset because we might let some one "immoral" kill for us, while the our defenses are being gutted.
They deserve whats coming.
