Good balanced article. WSJ is my newspaper of choice.

Odd, no mention of our favorite Zoot Shooter..... :o

WSJ seems to be a fairly "conservative" paper. Not sure of the reason, perhaps their focus on more information and less "popular appeal" leads them to a "No BS" editorial method.
Oddly enough, considering the Owner, Bloomberg Report seems to lean that way as well.

WSJ, All the Way!
WSJ is my daily paper as well.
I thought the article was well written and fun to read. It touched on cowboy and zoot shoots. I liked the way they pointed out the timing of the zoot suits but who cares. If it is fun to think they were 20s and 30s attire, go for it. Like some of the "cowboy" outfits we see today -- not too historically correct, but fun. MB looks good in his zoot suit but for me the period correct costumes are in the movie "Road to Perdition" with Tom Hanks. The guns and cars in that movie are great as well. But I didn't see a single zoot. Some of us are old enough to remember the 40s and zoot suits which was well after the roaring twenties.
