I guess it's better to be late for the party than not show up at all. ::)

With S&W pricing I don't see how it will compete

The 45ACP market. Price doesn't matter. You can buy a Glock for around $500 but there are many on here who pay much more for things like Sig or Beretta with no real gain over the Glock.

I"m not a big fan of these sorts of handguns, but still the difference to me between Taurus and S&W quality is HUGE. Especially when it comes to the action...

I think the 410 has a roll to play, but its not as big as many people think.
I agree with MB that its a great anti car jack tool and it would be a great hiking gun if you have snakes to deal with.
out side of those two things, I don't really see it playing a roll in SD. its intresting, but nothing more.

Scandium frame?
Equals,...."bling".... It will be more than the Judge by a pretty good margin.
Does it also shoot the 45Colt?
With the price of 45Colt, and 410 remaining high, a dealer told me it was due to Taurus Judge sales. :-\

I think price matters on this one. It's not the type of pistol you are going to take to the range and target shoot with. It's more of a shoot to get familiar with and carry in a vehicle or on the trail type weapon.
But, thats just my opinion.
