Yep!
I think I'll go to the range and celebrate today! (guess they couldn't handle the pressure!) ;D
I'm gonna let go a few rounds with his name on 'em.

Unless you're using a rifle you should just stick to his initials.
I don't think "Commie propaganda spouting azzhole Olberman" will fit on a pistol round.
-
I'm betting the network deemed him too conservative.
-
Didn't he get fired from Sunday Night Football just last year? Actually I know this to be the case because it was one of the reasons I missed several games last year.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out Mr. Uberwoman...
-
Couldn't of happened to a nicer douchebag!
All this "political rhetoric" PC talk probably did him in. ;D
-
I despise Mr Olberman, however I think his firing is a very bad thing. It was a direct result of the Comcast takeover of NBC Universal from GE. Comcast wanted him out of the way. The antitrust laws in the US are virtually unenforced, and for some reason(political payoffs) we have decided vertical monopolies are a good thing, which they most definitely are not! Until you have lived overseas you will have very little realization how badly we as consumers are being screwed by our cell phone and cable companies for internet/cell service. When the only major concession that was demanded for the merger was more Spanish channel programming you can easily see how corrupt our government is.
People worry all the time about a government takeover of the internet, but ignore the power that new legislation would give copyright holders to shut down websites without having to show any reasonable cause beforehand. This is bad in this case because the copyright holder will also be the ISP for a vast group of Americans, who have no choice in choosing another internet provider. This is especially true as AT&T has stopped its high end development/offerings of DSL plans/services in favor of its Uverse service. The US is already way behind in offering high speed broadband services to consumers. The price that we pay is also absurdly high for what we are receiving.
-
I have to agree with that last sentence. Comcast is sticking it to me pretty bad.
-
Gibbs is leaving as Press Secretary. Olberman is leaving MSNBC. Coincidence?
-
Maybe he can work out a deal with Fox, like everyone else. ;D
-
They are now saying he left on his own.

So Obamamann quit his MSNBC(D) gig? Moving to a post in the White House, perhaps?

If it wasn't posted on the internet I would never have known he was off the air. Rarely I will watch PMSNBC just to see how much they are in bed with the corrupt bunch running rough over our liberties.
