Title: Nevada/Las Vegas Subdivion Concept around Shooters
Post by: dugkim on January 23, 2011, 09:19:41 AM
Can anyone tell me the name of the shooting community subdivision in Nevada.  The concept, like a golf community, was built around shooting sports.  Has it been successful?  What's the latest?

That was the Front Site community I think.

Front Site went into receivership in May of 2009.  Not much on the web that leads me to believe that that's changed.  I wouldn't give Piazza a plug nickle at this point.....but I'm skeptical of "Firearms experts" anyways.

YMMV...

I couldn't help giggling over this post. A gun oriented sub-division. How do you evaluate this from an SD standpoint? On the one hand, every crook that wants to steal a gun knows where to go.On the other hand, their odds of making it out alive......? Not to mention all the fun that could be had at HOA meetings when there is the evitable clash between the control freaks on the board and the curmudgeon who thinks a giant Gadsen Flag painted on his gargage door is perfectly fine. ;D

It's a great idea, unfortunately Piazza has a shifty reputation and comes across like a used car salesman.
There have been at least 2 lawsuits filed against him alleging fraud.
Note that the complaints are about Piazza's business practices, I've never heard anything bad about Frontsights training.
