I heard a rumour that apparently colt was going to produce a new DA revolver.
Has anyone heard the same or can confirm this is the case?
Will the python rise again? ???

Been rumors of this for awhile. Doesn't look like it will happen this year, if ever. I don't understand Colt at all. They are missing out on selling huge amounts of guns, if they can keep prices even half reasonable. That may be their problem, as like Winchester, they have a union that is probably driving them out of business!

They could always move their manufacturing to Prescott, like some other famous American arms maker.

Union workers have to be a little more cautious with folks in the gun manufacturing industry. Especially if your one of the big "5".
The mgt. knows, that they can make S&W's in Georgia, and folks will still buy them. Ruger can go to Texas, Remington already moved a plant to a more cost effective location.
Winchester moved some manufacturing to Japan,.. :'( If they (unions) start too much crap, they can move to a non-union state.
I would love to see a "rebirth" of the Anaconda and/or Python and/or King Cobra.
Yes Please!!! ;D

I'd be happy with a rebirth of the Trooper/Lawman/Border Patrol series of .357 pistols.

Anaconda in presentation case on consignment at the range. $1500 Wish they would make them again
