Just like the pending gun control schemes, PRAY SCOTUS stays healthy.

Exactly the whole not reading the bill is going to come back to bite them on the a$$ on this one. There is no separation in the bill, so if one part of it is unconstitutional, the whole thing has to be scrapped. ;D ;D ;D

He compared this whole mess in Egypt with the assassination of the Archduke Of Ferdinand, which of course led to the ignition of World War I. I thought that was a pretty good comparison. The whole middle east is a smoldering keg of powder. The only question that remains is what will set the whole thing off. This could be it, especially if radical islam moves in after Mubarak gets out, which will only be a matter of time. Between Israel, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and bunch of others I'm forgetting, this could easily explode into WW III. Bill T.

Bill would require all S.D. citizens to buy a gun

Five South Dakota lawmakers have introduced legislation that would require any adult 21 or older to buy a firearm “sufficient to provide for their ordinary self-defense.”

The bill, which would take effect Jan. 1, 2012, would give people six months to acquire a firearm after turning 21. The provision does not apply to people who are barred from owning a firearm.

Nor does the measure specify what type of firearm. Instead, residents would pick one “suitable to their temperament, physical capacity, and preference.”
