I don't know what's funnier...the photo, or the fact that I have actually saw this for real in Daytona once. A guy had a Kawasaki on the beach and the kickstand wouldn't work in the sand.....so he improvised.



I also knew a guy who carried a blank receptacle box cover in his back pocket to put under his kickstand on hot asphalt to keep it from sinking in.

And now you know two....actually, it was a laser cut piece of 11 ga stainless steel from my shop.  There's no replacement for displacement!

Hell, I just used a piece of aluminum scrap .
3 inch disk from the punch press  ;D

Hell, my shop up in MA back in 2006 was brand new.  When they put down the blacktop in the parking lot, we embedded a piece of 1/4" plate about 12" wide into the surface for our kickstands.  There were about thirty guys that rode 8-9 months a year.

I though it was, as soon as I saw it it made me think of peg and posting it here...
