Title: Valentine's Day present for the wife
Post by: BAC on February 11, 2011, 09:14:36 PM
Got this for my wife on my way home tonight.  Wasn't planning on it, but they actually had it in stock and I couldn't resist.  Hopefully we can make it to the range this weekend.

It's a 351c 7 shot .22 magnum.

Nice!  Hey, about how wide is it?  I hear some opt to carry this over the LCP, etc?  What's your take?

It's the width of a typical J frame.  It's incredibly light and I love the big dot front sight on it.  Can't wait to try it myself.

She's letting me get a big screen (really big) TV.  It's the least I could do.   ;D

Well, we just got back from the range.  She really likes it!  The trigger pull was a little heavy for her at first, but it's getting better and she's getting used to it.

My 1911, on the other hand, is giving my heartburn.  But that's for another thread.

Count yourself very lucky if you have a wife who would appreciate a gift like that for any day.

She actually wants to go to the range now.  Which means I'll get to go to the range more.  It's kind of a win-win.   ;D
