Title: Today's guns in the news
Post by: Pathfinder on March 03, 2008, 07:41:20 PM
A bunch of stories hit today, even Fox almost hyperventilated, with murders at a Wendys, two schools locked down because of a masked gunman, etc. Is it my imagination, or are these stories getting a higher pitched play these days?

When the republicans are in office, all of a sudden, even with 8 years of a democrat like BJ, the news media discovers that - horrors - we have homeless in this country. And as long as a republican is in the white house, we have homeless. Elect another democrat, and all of a sudden, almost as if by magic, the homeless disappear.

Same thing with guns and shootings? I mean, you don't suppose that the anti-gun media is trying to inappropriately influence the Supreme Court decision do you?

Just curious.

Duh, what you are seeing is the laying of bedrock, or foundation, for the dem's to come. The media more than most know what is around the bend. After all, they are the media. Yoiu will see it more and more as the dem's get closer. It's the same as always. It's just that now it is really obvious because we have proven that we are so stupid that we can't see it. By we I mean those who truely do not notice and those of us who do but are too busy with our own selfish lives to say or do anything about it.

I'm glad it isn't just me seeing this stuff.  I don't want to seem paranoid, but it's like someone is trying to take something of mine......

Paranoia is thinking someone is out to get you, When someone IS out to get you it's called "situational awareness".

And remember, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you!   ;)

Most folks will not know anything is up until there are no ARs in stock. Mine is on it's way along with 2,000 rounds of surplus. I am not the kind of guy that looks for the boogy man, but in our case, he came looking for us. My fear is that when it comes down to it I will do the right thing, and the MBs and NRA's of the world will stand down. In that case, I and a few like me will just be speed bumps on the road to the end of our freedom as a nation.
The time is no longer coming, it is at hand. The time for wishing and dreaming of heros is gone. It is in the hands of the American public. The same public who this government cut the balls off of a long time ago.

Pathfinder, I'm thinking they (media) are trying to manifest a Democrat victory, and begin the softening up process to gain widespread public support, in response to "the unfathomable waves of gun violence",  for Bans of all shapes and sizes. I hope the Supreme Court is better insulated from such propaganda than the public.  Mac.

If you are any where near NH I got your back. Like Franklin said, "If we don't hang together we will most assuredly hang separately."
While the NRA may wimp out, (They have LEO training to fall back on) I don't see MB doing that, his entire career has been based on prvaite gun owners, and he's like some of us,(me ;D ) to outspoken to back down when the going gets rough.

Screw the American public, most of them are sheeple and will willingly be subjugated. And in a lot of cases, couldn't happen to nicer people (/sarcasm off).

It is in our hands, each of us, those of us post-modern Minutemen who may end up as speed bumps but the fascists will know we were here, by God!

And tin foil hats are not necessary, just look around and see what is happening to this country, our rights and freedoms. In the news today, Chertoff at DHS threatening - threatening mind you - states that do not pass Real ID or ask for extensions to the deadline, will not be allowed - read that carefully - WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to let their citizens fly because the ID will not be accepted by the thugs at TSA.

The liberal media is constantly pushing "their anti-gun agenda." Recently, it has been no different of course. To me they do overplay..over report on gun shootings etc..  Everyday, thousands and thousands of people die from automobile crashes. They by far kill more people day in and day out. But, you don't see people trying to ban them. Automobiles kill, yes?  What's the difference? The difference is they (being mostly anti-gun liberal-run media outlets) are and always will push their anti-gun agenda to promote a gun-free america. These are typically the same people that want to sit around and let the government take care of them... socialist - anti-gunners.. I wish they would take their "mass-murder, school shooting, killing rampage shooting stories and shove them up their "bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep."    GRR...

It's not about "'Ending the Senseless Violence", it's about ending any chance of serious resistance. Anti's & Media just play the violence angle. As T.Jefferson said; Any government big enough to provide everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have. That's the plan.
