Title: Kahr CW9
Post by: Bob G on February 24, 2011, 03:08:00 PM
Well I ordered a Kahr CW9 yesterday..I had seen a CW40 in a local shop and was impressed with the slim profile and lack of snagable appendages. I also thought the double action trigger was very smooth. Not wanting a 40 in this size handgun I went with the 9mm..I am going to order a kholster for it and am thinking of trying the Nate Squared holster..

Kahr makes a fine gun.  Congratulations.  I like mine:

Congrats...what you are going to find on these guns forums is that people either love or hate the Kahr's.
I recently purchased a P9 and so far am very pleased with it...Placed an order for a set of trijicon night sights which came in during the last blizzard and so I haven't had a chance to get them installed.
I have high hopes that my Kahr is going to be the end of my search for a good CCW gun for a very long time to come.

I wish I never sold my jam-o-matic P9 I should have just sent it back for work.  Now I'm on the waiting list as Bud's police supply and it will probably be a long time.

If you bought yours new, Karh specifically says to shoot at least 200 rounds to break it in.  Have had many folks say the same thing.  I bought mine used, and it has never even hiccuped once.

No I had it for a few years. It went in for warranty work once but it only helped a little.  I paid shipping too.

My PM9 is my ultra conceal gun. Super accurate and never a failure even in the "break in" phase. I tried a friends PM40 and wow what a difference, not fun to shoot at all. Though I carry it seldom I use a DeSantis Nemisis for pocket and Don Hume IWB a very nice leather holster with great clip or 2 snaps like summer comfort.
