Under the bill, workers who apply for a permit must already be living in the state, pay a fee, pass a background check and possess health insurance.

Illegal isn't that complex a word. It should be easy for these azzholes to understand.
On the other hand, Under the US Constitution they do not have the legal authority to implement this law.
Immigration policy is set by Congress, not States.

It's not complicated.
Truck 'em in for harvest, pay 'em more than they can make back home, truck 'em back home at the end of the season.

Cant work out why US cant delcare anything within 500yrd of the border a no go zone and patrol it with drones and surface to air missiles. At a time arranged each day deploy a team to pick up the pieces and throw them back accross the border.
The savings in cost of fighting the crugs coming accross would pay for the program and illegal crossings cut by 90% Win/Win

There should be a minefield to keep the invaders out.

Some folks own and work property along the border.

Eminent Domain, if it can be used to secure Railroad, and Highway right of ways, or for a mall that never gets built it should be able to clear the border.
There is also the option of long term leasing as the Marine Corps does with the Ranch property Camp Pendelton is on.

I have always favored heavy fines for the employers of illegals including you Saturday project guys that go pick day labor outside Home Depot. No government checks of any kind for any illegal and charge the home country for deportation. Take away all the incentives and the problem will solve itself.

These anti's keep whining about the "Militia". OK, here is a chance to fire it up and it won't cost the government or the taxpayers a damn dime. Call on any and all able bodied citizens with arms to report to the border on the date of your choice. Let the Border Patrol, and or the states along the border coordinate it by sending out forms the people can return showing the dates they would be avaliable for "duty". They can then report to the given section of border closest to them on those dates. I'm off all week, so Monday through Thursday is fine with me.

Let these people provide their own guns and ammo. Hearing protection, "eyes and ears" should also be required much like on any range. No alcohol, but tobacco and porn is fine as long as it doesn't offend the women shooters. Bring your own grub. Duty will be for 12 hour shifts to be determined by those put in charge. Declare a 1 mile, "no mans land" from the actual border to 1 mile north on our soil. Post signs and tell Calderone, and anyone else in that stink hole, anyone who breaches this "no walk, run, or crawl zone" will be shot, PERIOD! Any and all dissenters already here would of course be rounded up and tossed back across the fence after a "cease fire" is declared momentarily. Enough with this "guest worker" crap. It's time for a "Guest SHOOTER" program. That would succeed in fifteen minutes! If we get lucky perhaps the UN would kick us out for "crimes against humanity"! Or better still send in their "peace keepers". We could teach them how to shoot. Christ knows they need lessons.  Bill T.

There is already a $10K fine per illegal, it doesn't work.
Jail them, 6 months per illegal.

Our problem is that the Agents and Officers of ICE and the Police are not allowed to round up illegals.  We are seen as  just a managed herd that uses abortion and contraceptives to keep our family sizes small, to keep this house of cards going you need an ever growing population and we don't cooperate by having big families.

I like the long term lease option.

And I'd suspect the landowners would even welcome Eminent Domain in order to protect and secure the remainder of their property.

Much like an insect infestation in your home, as long as there is a host food supply, (or money to buy it), they will keep coming. In this regard jail time for any employer is not only needed, but required to stop this infestation of vermin. "Education" is nothing more than a politically correct cop out and will not work. They don't want an education. It's avaliable here to the ones who are here legally and they don't even attempt to get one. The drop out rate in some of the public high schools in the hispanic areas of Phoenix is over 66% or 2 thirds! A good education requires WORK. They want FREE. As long as the dems are willing to pander to them with entitlement programs they will keep coming for them, breeding as much as possible all along the way.

It has been proven all throughout Europe and most of Africa that multiculturalism does not work, and as failed miserably everywhere it has been applied, much the same as socialism has. The dems don't care and will push for it anyway simply because it means votes. More mexicans in this nation means more democrats. More democrats means more entitlement programs. It's a vicious cycle they do not want to see broken.

Every stupid white in Hollywood, as well as politically correct white liberals everywhere else are too dumb to see it, or else they don't want to. They live in a bubble where reality does not exist. Most, like the wealthy in mexico, are walled in within their guarded mansions and don't care what is happening elsewhere because it does not effect them in their gated, guarded little piece of heaven that is detached from the peons. If this country allows amnesty, or whatever name you want to tag it with, to envelope 30,000,000 odd mexicans, this country as we know it to exist will be over. It will quickly be reduced to the stink hole these people came from, because they will not assimilate into our society. They will drag ours down to their level of filth, corruption, and poverty they all came from. It is all they know.  Bill T.

Could also take it from the Mexican side of the border.
