I see the accused gunman, Loughner has pleaded not guilty

I looked up to see what happening after reading this
has anyone else heard the following ??
The shooter's mommy works with the county Sheriff there, in another agency, but still a county employee. He should have been arrested several times prior to the shooting, for prior acts, but the Sheriff wouldn't arrest his fellow public employee's kid, let alone enter his name in the national database. Many of the complainants in those cases were told to shut up, the Sheriff didn't want to ruin the kid's life.
They KNEW this fker was nuts, but the Sheriff would do nothing about it. Deputies were told to take him home, let the parents deal with him.
Pima County Arizona is rampant with drug crime, about four times the state average, even when compared to the larger populated county next door (Maricopa/Phoenix area).
The Sheriff made a lot of noise immediately after the shooting, but when these facts came out, he's been dead silent since then, knowing anything he says will point to his ineptitude, and collusion with Loughner's parent to keep the kid out of trouble.

Yep, that came out soon after in blogs and was finally reported on in the MSM (very short report) and that is when he went silent.

We had a situation in a neighboring county back in the late 70's. A judge's son was always in trouble. The Sheriff's department and police department would do the "deliver the kid to mom and dad and talk to the family" show. However this didn't work, so the judge begged them to crack down hard.
As you can imagine, the departments hated cracking down on a judge's son. But crack down they did. Now a new problem started. Other judges would not sentence the son. All he got was a slap on the wrist and released. Between the original LE treatment that never seemed to get as tough as it should, and the judges doing "daddy" what they thought were favors the kid got worse and worse.
Finally the judge wrote a letter to all LE and judge in the area. The letter did not just go to the departments or courthouse. It went to ever individual. The judge explained what his son was like, what had been done over the years and what it was creating. He closed by begging everyone to treat his son like the scumbag he was, and to ignore all family ties.
The first Saturday after the letter went out the kid was in trouble. He was booked, stripped, searched, "showered," and put in a holding cell. Monday morning he was taken to court and charged. Following his first hearing his parents refused to post bail, and the kid fell up three flights of stairs on his way to a cell. He got a public defender and agreed to plead guilty thinking of the past. Oooooooooooooooooooops! He was charged to six months in the general population at a state facility - a not nice state facility.
Last I heard the kid was not a saint, but he was staying out of trouble.
Sometimes it is the parent, and sometimes it is everyone else trying to be nice. Either way it is nothing but the wrong thing to do!

should happen more though in this MFW people are to worried about hurting someones feelings.
I know I am part of that younger generation ( Gen X ) however the lack of repect young people have these days, or how violent and vindictive they are makes me shake my head.

In my not so glorious high school days I ran around with a couple of lawyer's kids. It was a small town and it was like having a "get out of jail free" card. More than once we got pulled over and all that happened was our liquor got confiscated and we were told to go home.
Some times I wonder how I lived through those days.

This "Sheriff Dupnik" is a real POS. He started flapping his jaws about how the whole crime was driven by vitriol from the conservatives and the Tea Party. Then all one has to do is look at how his goomba's acted up in Wisconsin when they didn't get what they wanted. Death treats, calling for, "getting a little bloody", and more verbal stupidity. This guy is a total hypocrite. I hope his ass ends up in the ringer because of his stupid, foolish mouth before this is all over. This is getting to be a regular thing with liberal democrats these days. Bill T.

It is being totally down played by the mainstream press here, (Arizona Republic). It is a highly liberal rag that is not going to go after this a$$hat in any way, shape, or form unless they absolutely have to. If this was Joe Arpaio they'd be all over it like stink on crap. This total fool knew of how off the rails this kid was, but went out of his way to protect him and his family because of some employment connection between Loughner's family and his department. Could he have prevented this shooting? We'll never know. But the mere fact this is being so down played is in itself a travesty.
Then to frost the cake and light the candles this clown as the audacity to lash out at conservatives and the Tea Party and accuse them of "hate filled vitriol" that he, in some stupid, abstract way, tries to directly tie into the shooting and why it happened. This total political moron should be kicked in the ass right out of office. He is nothing more than a partisan hack who heads up one of the worst county sheriff departments in this nation. Pima County is more saturated with drugs than mexico itself. This total jackass has done nothing about it since he took office. He's as worthless as tits on a bull. Bill T.

Can he be recalled? Is that realistic or is the political base in Pima also comprised of liberal asshats? They do keep re-electing him after all.

Yes, he can be. Even Bill O'Reilly had mentioned on his show it shouldn't be a problem, especially after all of this. But so far nothing. Or I should say nothing is being reported. Bill T.
