I'd give up my Directv in a heartbeat for that offer.
For Radio Shack customers in Montana, a satellite dish network package arms them with more than just a remote.
It also comes with a gun.
Or, if customers don't qualify (or for some reason don't want the firearm), they can receive a $50 Pizza Hut gift certificate.
When reached by phone, a store employee told the News that people had been flocking in for the deal. So much so, store owner Steve Strand told the Ravalli Republic newspaper, business had tripled.
"I think it really, really fits Bitterroot Valley," he told the newspaper.
The deal is brightly advertised on a sign outside the Radio Shack that reads "Protect Yourself With Dish Network Sign Up Now Get Free Gun."

I love it! Downsideis that if its like DTV, the sattellite signal goes down in heavy rain or cloud cover. It wouldn't be my first choice in Mt.

Dude, it ain't as if they will be getting cable in any of the rural areas.
I'm wondering what the gun choices are if the consolation prize is $50 worth of pizza. Some how I don't think it will be a Les Baer 1911.
Or even an AK for that matter.

It still beats the key chain or truckers cap "good for the ladies'. ;D Though on second thought, that might work in Montana.

for awhile case was offering $100 if you put $500 in and left it for 60 days... I did it 13x. They finally made it so you had to have direct deposite of $500 not just $500 cash. ;D
