I placed the order around the 20th of Feb., and received an email on Feb 28 acknowledging receipt of order. The email said it would be shipped in 30-60 days. I received another email today saying it shipped FedEx, so I'm expecting it Tue. or Wed. I can't wait! ;D

I've included a couple of pics of the new M1 Garand and the entire military family. ::)
This appears to have a low serial number (64XXX) out of 6 million +. Is there any additional value in this? B.

Sorry for the lack of recent updates, My computer usage has been curtailed this week. It DID get delivered on Tuesday, YEAH! I'm a little taken aback by the amount of cosmoline on the firearm. Not sure why, but I wasn't expecting that. I've bought other surplus firearms and expected and received cosmoline coated items. But for some reason, my naivety didn't see this coming. I'm researching the best way to remove this. resulting in the least amount of damage. I'll have pics up this w/e of delivered condition and then final pics when I complete it. I'm anxious to get it out to the range. I also received my ammo shipment on Wed.

Mineral spirits.
And lots of rags ! ;D
If you live where it is already warm you can hang the metal parts in the sun in a clear plastic bag and let the sun melt it off.
But up here it's still to cold and I don't think you want to wait another month ;D
