Title: Finally joined Second Amendment Foundation

I've told myself I needed to do it so many times but I keep "forgetting".

I was listening to Alan Gottlieb talk on the Gun Talk podcast while walking my dogs yesterday.  Forced myself to hit the computer when I got home and sign up for a life membership.

I'm an Endowment member of the NRA and that's great for DC lobbying.  But if you look at who is behind Heller, McDonald, NJ and California lawsuits, it the the SAF that is carrying the water on the legal front.  These guys don't just talk and bluster...they actually do stuff.

Gottlieb is also behind the CCRKBA organization.

Welcome aboard, kilopaparomeo.  SAF doesn't have the huge PR budget and staff that our bigger brother organization does, but they (we) get a lot done out of the spotlight.   I've often advocated all gun rights organizations work together, instead of sniping at one another.  Wouldn't it be great if we could get all estimated 80 million gun owners on the same side?  We would be unstoppable.
