Holy Smokes Batman! My shoulder gets sore enough after 25 rds. with the full size model. Nice to see he was hip shooting,....how accurate is that beyond 5-10yds.?
Kinda cool? Yes.
Practical ? Uh,.... NO.
I'd rather kick my own ass with a 12g MB approved SERBU. ::)

One othe point of critique on the Moisin. You have to fire it left handed to work the bolt. But you have to carry it in a right handed holster to carry it with the protuding handle. Kind of a problem if this is your zombie slaying go to gun. The Serbu solves this problem, and is a lot more practical (which speaks volumes ;D).

Condoms were invented for hot-chicks with STD's, I ain't seeing the protection you need if you want to whip this puppy out.

I have always thought, that every American, should be issued a 45/70 Bond Arms derringer, whole new meaning to " Don't make me use this "

Might have the same results as this:

I kinda feel left out. I must be the only one on this forum who doesn't have a class 3 license.

This is an old topic I know but it came up in a google search that I did. I am new to this forum and this my first post here.
I read recently in the Backwoodsman mag about how to make one of these. I liked the idea because these rifles are very cheap, not much over $100 and you can keep it legal by maintaining 16" in length. (or is it 18" ?)
I was thing of griping it right handed and maybe rotating the wrist to work the bolt with my left hand. I guess much of the powder gets sent out the barrel end at this short length, (and probably pretty cool to see it fired at night.)
Anyway, I just thought it might be a unique and cool inexpensive camp gun if nothing else.

Just over 16 for rifles, shotguns it's 18 + most you will find are over by about 1/4 inch to be safe.
way to measure it is close the action and drop a dowel down the barrel, mark it at the muzzle and measure.

375 JDJ barks more than that! :P

I'll pass on all of these....
But then I don't chug pitchers of beer or try to see who can drink a row of Jack Daniels shots anymore either.... ;D ;D

The minimum is 16" length for the barrel and 26" for the whole gun to be a legal rifle. In my silly state it would need a pistol registration because it's less than 30".
