Look, I'm a Southern boy. Both sides of the family fought for the South. I even had my (many times) great Uncle Sullivans calvarly sabre before pssing it on to my cousin Mike afer he sobered up as he was the eldest heir. Sullivan was a three hundred pound calvalry major from Georgia (pity the poor horse ;D). Still and all, I'm glad we lost. Not only was the cause wrong, but if we had won, the South would look like Brazil. An agricultural economy dependent on imports and run by aristocrats and fueled by corruption. We won by losing. I still have a portrait of Robert E. Lee on my wall though. ;)
