Don't forget that the bullets fired from assault weapons are more deadly, particularly to LEOs too.
Also note, that there was never a civilian version of a military weapon produced until the Assault Weapon Ban which lead to the production of the AR15...so the chart says.

That's because snipers are the epitome of spray from the hip.
A 9mm bullet is instantly more deadly and super-powered when fired from a mac-10 assault rifle (call me weird, but that doesn't look much like a rifle to me).
I never realized that AK47's and M16's were developed during WWI and could magically shoot the enemy in another trench while the shooter stood in his trench and randomly sprayed bullets from his hip.
I think she talked me into getting an assault rifle by describing their magical physics defying abilities.
If any of you with a few dozen extra in the gun safes (you know who you are) would like to donate one of these to me, I'm willing to remove it's evilness from your presence.

we had the BAR in WW1 but were afriad to issue it. they though if the germans got thier hands on one, they would start making copys.

The TEC-9 was the only firearm on the poster that was used at Columbine. The UZI, AK47, M16 were not used. Funny how she used it in plural form: weapons.

It amazes me how many people out there need to file a ID10T form. They say you learn something new every day - I learned that assault rifles are capable of alot of bad things and we should ban ANY weapon that looks like an assault weapon or one we think looks like one. Spray Fire, bet the F.D. doesn't like that. Harris & Klebolt didn't have autos.

If I recall DC correctly it is full size sedans that we should be banning, because that is what was modified to conceal the sniper and provide a stable shooting platform. Why wasn't that car on the chart ???
Also, is it just me or did she say that be bullets became worse coming out of an "assault weapon?" Did she imply that a 9mm out of a glock would not go through a "bullet proof vest," but from a modified Uzi it will ???

I bet the piano wire industry could use a stimulus. Once it cuts through the soft tissue it should hold just fine.
