After 2 years of trying to find a training class that lines up with my schedule (heavy international business travel and 3 kids in lots of sports and activities tend to fill up nearly every weeknight and weekends), I finally found a class I can take.
Oddly enough, there are quite a few name-brand trainers that are around here. Steve Smith teaches here in Michigan within 2-3 hours. John Farnam and Mas Ayoob both sometimes teach in Illinois, Indiana (only about 2 hours away). But again, the dates never seem to work.
However, just found out that Mas Ayoob is teaching a MAG-20R class in Racine WI on June 25-26. While I'd rather take the 4 day MAG-40, this should be a great one. How perfect is this?
- June 20-23 I have 3 separate presentations to give to our Board of Directors, CEO and my division leadership so I should be absolutely wiped out and ready for some fun.
- Wife has approved the time away from the family
- We currently have NOTHING scheduled for that weekend (one of only 3 weekends between now and the end of the summer)
- My best buddy lives in Racine WI
Woooo-Hoooo!
Anybody wanna join me?

Congrat's KPR. Would love to train with Masaad Ayoob. I appreciate his input in different magazines.
Had to save money this year for a NRA Instructor Certification Course that I am attending in May.
After this, I will be saving to hopefully attend ICE Training's Combat Focus Shooting Instructor Development. Already took CFS with Rob Pincus a couple of years ago and really enjoyed his program.
