It’s Barack Obama’s “Marie Antoinette” moment:
Obama needled one questioner who asked about gas prices, now averaging close to $3.70 a gallon nationwide, and suggested that the gentleman consider getting rid of his gas-guzzling vehicle. “If you’re complaining about the price of gas and you’re only getting 8 miles a gallon, you know,” Obama said laughingly. “You might want to think about a trade-in.”
Look at where the red arrow is pointing.... Fuel Consumption: Obama's car is getting about 8 miles to the gallon. >:(

Sorry M'lette, but POTUS needs an armored ride. I didn't begrudge W.'s, you shouldn't begrudge BO's or whoever comes after him. Too many folks want to make our President a target, and armor does not lead to great gas mileage. Its a non-issue.

I personally have no issue with an armored car for any POTUS. It's a bad world, however, the batteries in a Prius or Chevy volt that was armor plated would get about 15 minutes,......
The POTUS will drive an American Car.....elections will hinge on it,...... Hard to armor plate a Chevy Volt though,,,
After all, BHO burned over 53,000 gallons of jet fuel just for Earth Day,.......

I have no problem with the POTUS having an armored limo. What bugs the crap out of me is the arrogance exhibited in his attitude on gas prices. He says those of us in the great unwashed should trade for higher fuel mileage vehicles if we can't afford the fuel that he apparently wants to see at $5 or $6 a gallon. But then, since we're the ones paying for HIS gas, why the hell should he care how expensive it gets?

Most people that have older low fuel milage cars, can't aford to buy new cars.
I personally drive my cars til they litterly blow up/fall apart. Its how I get my money out of them.
Would I like to have a brand spanking new f 150, you bet, but i'm not going to spend $30k on a truck.

OMG another thing Obummer can blame on Bush. That vehicle was designed and built for W originally. There are a few of them and they are continually upgraded. New ones are built periodically due to attrition, they are beat to hell even on normal days, then you take one to the track to "practice" and all bets are off.
