White House Releases Obama's Long-Form Birth Certificate

The White House has released President Obama's long-form birth certificate, saying the document is "proof positive" the president was born in Hawaii.
White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer said the administration decided to release the full document in response to mounting questions about the president's birth. He noted that what started as Internet chatter had moved into the national political debate and ended up being discussed regularly on mainstream news outlets.
He said the president believed the matter was becoming a "distraction" from major issues.
Obama plans to discuss the release of the document Wednesday morning at the White House.
The document lists Obama's birthplace as Honolulu, Hawaii, and his birth date as Aug. 4, 1961. The hospital listed is Kapiolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital. The name on the birth certificate is Barack Hussein Obama II.
Obama's presidential campaign, in response to questions raised in 2008, at the time posted a short-form version of the document on the Internet. But conspiracy theories continued to fester. They gained legs in recent weeks as Donald Trump, who is toying with the possibility of running as a presidential candidate in 2012, repeatedly and publicly questioned Obama's origin.
Pfeiffer, on the White House blog, said the president thought the attention was "bad for the American people" and directed his counsel to request access to the long-form document from the Hawaii State Department of Health. The department granted an exception to release the long-form document "because of the tremendous volume of requests they had been getting," the White House said.
"At a time of great consequence for this country -- when we should be debating how we win the future, reduce our deficit, deal with high gas prices, and bring stability to the Middle East, Washington, DC, was once again distracted by a fake issue," Pfeiffer said on the blog. "The President's hope is that with this step, we can move on to debating the bigger issues that matter to the American people and the future of the country."

Of course it is a copy.
No agency will just send the only original that is available.
Every word, letter, and smudge on this will be analyzed by anyone with the talent and a magnifying glass.
Only thing I spotted, in my inexpert viewing, was the use of the word African for race. Have no idea what was the general usage back then.
But African seems like using North American as race, but that does not mean that term was not a correct usage at the time

Since I don't think you can stand the suspense any longer, here's my thoughts on this. ;D
There are two paper trails that BHO has been hiding; one that has real potential for upsetting the apple cart and one that is a red herring.
The longer the he could keep the "birthers" baying for his long form birth certificate the better. Not only did it make them seem like illogical loons, but it gave him power over them as well. I think he was planning on releasing this birth certificate anyway, but closer to the election. Unfortunately "The Donald" was able to make it a real news story and forced his hand a little early.
Now, the ones that may have some merit are his school records - transcripts and financial aid records. For now he can just roll his eyes and say "Not this again." Fortunately we may be far enough away from the election that if it reaches the same status as the birth certificate fiasco it might have an impact in 2012. It will be interesting to see how a poor student without the means managed to get into the schools he did. Maybe Bill Ayers wrote his school papers as well.

Guys, just had it pointed out to me that this is, again, just the Certificate of Live Birth and NOT the long form birth certificate that is needed to confirm his birth.
Not sure if there is a difference, but this might be nothing more than another version of the dubious document that was posted way back during the campaign.

I still think it's awfully odd that he held this thing out of public viewing for so long. Why did the administration see it fit to decline all requests to see it till now? Something just doesn't seem right with this. I don't know what it is but I'm sure that there will be more to the story in the near future.

The reason is simple. I've said it early and often. It was to make the GOP look like idiots. The more the birthers ranted and raved with their conspiracy theories, and the more that the mainstream GOP and Fox News embraced them, the more BO smiled. Because he knew he could produce this and discredit them. Now their credibility on this has been shot, they also lose credibility on real issues. All the admin has to say is "These are the same guys who told you I was a Kenyan born muslim. Remember that?". Herein is why its stupid to go for the tinfoil when there are plenty of rational reasons to oppose the guy. ::)

Well, it does appear to have been created on a typewriter. Some of the letters are not completely struck, which is a typewriter characteristic.
I am sure there will be experts comparing the type face, letter spacing, line spacing, etc. to what models of typewriters were available back then.
I seem to see light pencil markings in some of the blocks. The numbers 2 and 9 are there and a dash or two. Those will be subject to inspection also.
Even the watermark will be analyzed for authenticity for that time period.
By the left edge of the image, it appears that it might be part of a bound book so the sequence numbers might be able to be checked for consistancy.
It appears the File Number 151 was pre-printed on the form while the number, 61 10641 under Department of Health appears to be a stamp. I'd guess the leading 61 is for the year. The rest might be a sequence number that can also be analyzed for consistence.
Again, this will all be moot if this document only confirms that a Dr. saw that he was alive on the date the form is completed, 8/8/61.
If any other information was supplied by non-official sources, it is suspect.

How about we do this instead? Drop the conspiracy stuff and make the (to me very obvious) case that he's doing a half assed job as President and hope the GOP comes up with a half decent candidate? I mean I'm still pissed at W. over an unnessary war in Iraq. I'm so mad about this Libiyan insanity that my head is about to explode and that's not even touching on the economy or the fact that he flat out lied about what health care reform would look like. There are a thousand good reasons to vote against the guy laying out there in plain sight. Why go looking for a conspiracy? He just sucks at the job. The record is clear, lets stick with that.

The real issue is not whether he was born in the US (although this could be a fake anyway - since there are many photo-shopped layers on the released document.) it is eligibility! He is not a 'Natural-born' citizen proved by this BC - his father was not a US citizen, his mother was, but only for 2 years (the law requires 5 after the age of 16). His father was African (Kenyan which was a British colony in '61). To be 'Natural-born' both parents must be citizens & he must be born here.
BHo must be impeached, tried for treason, found guilty & executed for his crimes. This is the proscribed sequence of events.
The reality today in this world of bleeding hearts will be no action since the Constitution is null & void. He will be retained in office & allowed to become the first dictator for life of the US. He will continue to destroy the country & his puppet-master will bring the plan to fruition. The US is dead & we have wrung our hands all we could (really doing nothing). Too bad there were no patriots around to fix the problem.

Can't argue with that....except I'll take any way we can find to get him out of office. If it is found he took the oath of office knowing he was not legally eligible to hold it, I'll take that as win for our side if we can use it to have him removed.
The investigation of his latest certificate has begun.
Here is a story where it is claimed that twins born a day after BHO and who's birth was officially reported to the authority issuing certificates and responsible for sequentially numbering them have certificate numbers lower than BHO's when they would have been higher.

BTW, I hear on the MSM that BHO finally put to rest this insignificant issue that had been blown out of proportion by the "Birthers" and Tea Party.
Do remember that what made this issue significant was that BHO spent millions of dollars to prevent his birth certificate (and other records of his past) from being released.
No matter how trivial they attempt to make it appear now, it was never trivial to BHO.

PDFs do work in layers, that is how you can get read-only forms, forms into which you can enter information, or the maker of the PDF can prevent any cut and paste, etc. I am not an expert in Adobe Acrobat by any stretch, but this maps to how I know things work. The guy in the video may be 100% wrong, but until I see how, this is just is incredible.

See previous posting and watch the video. And then ask why everything about bho and the she-wolf is hidden, buried and locked up. Get an answer to that, and this fraud will pale in comparison to everything you - and we - discover about this poseur.

Here is the latest on the analysis of this birth certificate.
The findings here are that since the certificate was scanned while still in the book, the form near the left edge "bends" introducing parallax distortion of what is on the form.
This examiner has shown that some entries on the form do not "curve" as do other lines just above or below them on the form, proving that they were entered after the copy was made.
Find the whole story here. The fellow has also filed a felony criminal complaint for forgery.
