Upper:
BCM 14.5" middy upper with a permed A2x FH. Troy 9" drop in rails with ladders. Tango Down QD stubby VFG. Stream Light 165 lumen TLR-1s with strobe function. A Spikes BCG. A BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 CH. A Aimpoint Comp M3 with 2 MOA dot and a American Defense AD-68H mount for a lower 1/3 cowitness. And a Magpul MBUS.
Lower:
Stripped RRA lower assembled with a DD LPK. Magpul BAD Lever. BADASS Ambi Safety. Milspec receiver extension with a Magpul CTR stock. IKH SLAP Plate and a Magpul MIAD grip.
I think that covers it all. Its just a basic build really.

Nice build. That's a great example of a functional rifle with plenty of versatility.

Good quality components. I'm partial to slightly longer barrels (e.g., 16 or preferably 18") to give the little 5.56 all the help it can get and I also like ML- or RLGS for reliability. All that said, a very solid build.
Oh, and you can't all it a Franken build unless you are mixing (preferably in a bizarre, inexplicable manner) different components from wildly different models. Best examples are bulding a FAL from mix of inch and metric pattern kits, with Belgian, Austrian and Israeli comppnents. In the AR world it would be using a Magpul PRS stock, 10.5" barrel with 6" Colt Commando FH, 24X scope (usually Barska brand), TAPCO VFG, extra rails and UTG lasers and a huge Harris knock off bipod. ;D

Very nice build. Congratulations.
Methinks, after I completed my first AR build, and the collective AR Building aficionado's here on DRTV, unless I hit the lottery, ....I'll just build my future AR's.
Including an AR-10 variant starting sometime this Fall. After reading the MSRP, for an LWRC REPR, and a little "build one" cost analysis, I can put one together for a lot less. ;)
Looking forward to a range report.
Good shooting!

Thank you everyone. I zeroed the aimpoint on Friday and then shot about 300 rounds of XM855. I had no malfunctions at all. I want to change the rail to something lighter though.
Aimpoint Zeroing targets @ 50 yards.

When I clicked the link, I thought it meant that Al Franken got a rifle. ;)
Looks great! I can't wait to move to the real USA, so I can take part too. At least I have my pre-ban (albeit registered) stuff.
