I baught a new 9mm 24/7 and a new .40 Mil Pro. They have the Heine sights. I am shooting low, low, low. Everything I read on the net forums is saying the same thing. Do you folks know of a replacement rear site? If I aim to hit, I am aiming in mid air. I hate that. Richard Heine should be sued.

HA. I ground the front sight down to the bottom of the white dot and now I am hitting right. Whoever heard of a sight that covers up the bullseye? I guess there is plusses and minuses. If I was shooting at a snake or a mountain lion, they would be safe. If I tried for a head shot on a guy trying to rape my wife, I would hit him in the pecker!!!

Heine makes front sights is varying heights.
Perhaps you have a tall one and a shorter one would have worked?
Take care.

That's what SHE said.

Talked to a guy at Heine and a gal from Tauras. They used a propriatory???? dovetail cut. No good aftermarket sights. I would have to of gotten and over sized one and cut it down. I went ahead and ground the front blade on the .40 today. WOW. I get great groups and I can take the sight picture that I am used to. I stick by my clame that the Heine guy should be sued. Those sights would have ruined a great gun if a guy like me didn't own Mr. dremel tool.
