A couple of photos of Gaston Glock's new Bombardier, BD700 Global Express (GLEX) $45 million dollar private jet. It's good to make guns! I wonder how many they've manufactured and sold since they first hit the market? Bill T.

I'd say Gaston's earned his fortune.
The plane reminds me of a story a friend of my tells.
He used to work for the DEA in what he called "Interdiction" . He was an ex Air Traffic Controller and his job was to use live satellite video to track flights inbound to the US for suspicious behavior.
He was watching a plane coming in to Texas from the gulf when the plane made a sudden change of course from Dallas and began descending towards a small private air field out in the sticks.
He reported it and it was quickly met on the ground by a DEA task force.
Turns out it was Gaston's jet and Gaston and his party had decided to have some fun and land at the field of an acquaintance who had a gun range on the property.
They were drug clean, and my friend didn't know if they had bought in their own firearms.

I think Gaston was well on his way to his fortune prior to inventing Glock. His pistol design was the icing on the cake.
