A friend is thinking about getting one. Anyone have any knowledge of them?

Haz I know two people that had them. One got rid of his because he could not get used to the long heavy trigger pull. The other one got rid of his because of feed issues no matter what type of ammo used or magazine. From what I here it is common with the 45 but have not heard of any bad reports on the 40 S&W model of the Millenium.

i was looking at the Millenniums real hard for awhile and I read a lot about them and it was about 60-40 Pro-Con. It's not like they are a POS and two folks really LIKED them, or it's not like they're fantastic and there's only one crotchety old man in Fairbanks that though the trigger pull was too hard- there's definitely a SPLIT OPINION on those guns if you read enough. I almost ordered one and then backed off because of the split opinions I was reading.
Maybe Michael could get ahold of a couple and pass them out to try. I'd volunteer to test a few. OH! NEW THREAD!!

Thanks Swampie,
I told the guy to hold off as I had not heard of anyone using it and I figured there had to be a reason.

Hey Haz, A freind of mine has a Millenium 9mm, I've shot it several times, He had one failure to fire but good firing pin mark on the primer so I would put that down to ammo (I forget the brand) accuracy was good, The long trigger pull, I personally don't care for it BUT I don't normally shoot striker fired pistols, didn't even like to shoot my revolvers DA as I didn't like the long trigger pull, so I think that is a matter of personal preferance. Otherwise I would say it's a good gun.
