Hope you hit the Lottery! LOL At the price of gas your going to need it!!! Have fun and stay safe!
Like to meet you but Ravenna, Ohio is too far out of the way for that.
Richard
PS: Try to post interesting pix from the road

Take the northern tier! Hit Ravenna, swing through MN and see M58, then through Fargo to see me, and to WA state. Great route through the northern Rockies! ;D
-
If you roll by Lincolns 50,000 silver dollar bar you might catch me in the gas station
Haugan MT, exit 16 off I-90
-
Have fun! Sounds like a great trip, but if you've already been to Haz's place what's left to see?

we're taking the Southern route towards New Mexico to meet up with my folks. maybe North on the return.

Strong advice would be to hit Austin, Tuscon, Flagstaff, Santa Fe, San Fran, Seattle and maybe ride the ferry up through the San Juans a bit. At least you'll eat well. ;D

Last time I sat on a motorcycle saddle for 10 or 11 hours, I was a much younger man. Your butt must be made of steel DH...
I do miss the ride but I'm afraid it's in my past. Enjoy your trip and be safe.... ;)

Don't pass Austin to get to Dallas. Dallas sucks, (its New Jersey with cowboy hats. ;D). Austin will give you great blues and real couuntry and great food.

I used to live in Round Rock for 5 years. loved it. but the war dept was in a hurry to get to my mother's house (so was Mom) so we just breezed through Texas. we're in New Mexico now and will be staying for a few days. Mom is trying to convince me to take her car North (she has a conversion van she'll be taking on the same trip). anyway, I'm having a good time but the wife gets a little bored on the back of the bike there. oh well...

I want to see you put chains on that scooter when you go through the snow. Heck, that would be worth the airfare! :-*

My father used to say how he delivered newspapers in Maine back in the early 30's on an Indian motorcycle and had to run chains in the winter.
Check out this guy................ he makes his own.

Deep,
Hope things are going well and you are having a fun trip! Last year at the "suggestion" of the bride I stepped up to a Wing. Amazing how easy it was to get rid of all the noise from the back seat ;)
Last summer on a trip to southern Kansas (550 miles each way) she managed to doze off more than once. Last weekend was her first trip this spring. After 40 miles I asked if she was ready to head back, being the caring husband who just remembered she was back there. She made it clear that on this bike she could ride all day! Even when we rode into a thunderstorm she didn't care.
Now all I have to do is get that cruiser back for when I ride alone - Think of the guy with a couple of Caddies and a Vette in the gerge. ;D
P.S.
If you get a bike with intercom make sure that you control the on and off switch!

I've been looking at goldwings online. I think the wife would lik,e that too. we may be going on with my mothers car from here, she's trying hard to convince Mili that it will be way too cold, wet and uncomfortable in the Northwest. (nah, never) anyway, I'll let you guys know how that goes.

You could just unplug the intercom wire! ;)

I just loves me a Vette in the gerge! Taking spelling lessons from FQ are we? ? ? ? ;D
Deep - glad to finally hear from you. I thought you might be in the slammer somewhere, there was such a resounding silence. But since no flares for bail money went up, I was wondering! Continue to have fun.
