Title: Political wedded bliss
Post by: fightingquaker13 on May 18, 2011, 04:05:32 PM
I don't know if you have been following the Governator's woes, but I had to comment. It seems he fathered a child with a member of the household staff :o and has maged to keep it secret for 15 years. You just know that Edwards, Clinton, Hart, Vitter and Gingich are all on the phone asking how he managed it. Edwards in particular. ;D I just want to say how much I admire Shriver in this case. Apparently she dumped his ass the day she found out. None of this "stand by your man" tearful press conference crap, just kick his sorry butt to the curb. Good for her. ;D
In related news, it seems Newt has racked up a $500,000 tab at Tiffineys. Now I don't know about you, but  if I were a womanizer like Newt and the wife racked up that kind of bill in small, easily sold assets on the family visa card, I'd be worried. Anyone else think she might have caught him "auditioning" Mrs. Gingrich number 4? ;)

At the risk of sounding too snarky, in this case it was about a man who had steak at home going out for a hamburger.  I never have understood that.  I mean, if you are going to take that kind of risk, she had better be smokin' hot.   :o

I don't understand what her problem is. All the men in the Kennedy family cheat, its a trademark. He would be the oddball of the clan if he didn't.

Lets not be too judgemental... for all we know she could have sucked a bowling ball thru a garden hose.

Probably why she dumped him. She wasn't going to roll over like the rest of them. Arnie should have known that. I mean cheating is bad. Having a kid is worse. But doing both with someone who was in her house and helped with her kids? WTF? He's lucky he's still got his balls. Even his son has disowned him. He's calling himself Shriver now, and who can blame him."Gee dad, did you cheat on mom in my bed"?Asshole!

I actually met Arnold in SoCal back when he had just come over from Austria.  He showed me some variations on a dumbbell shoulder press that he used to build those cannon balls he carried.  Shortly thereafter, he shot his first movie, Stay Hungry, and the set chatter suggested that he had a pretty amazing libido--even for a guy in his mid-20's.  As he progressed through the Mr. Olympia ranks, it was well-known that Arnold was a tomcat.  I was pretty surprised when he landed Maria because she does come from a certain amount of money and an upscale lifestyle.  She could have done better, from a fidelity standpoint.  Still, the guy managed to keep the bastard kid a secret for 15 years.

His real problem stems from his personal delusion that HE was one of the Kennedy clan and he thought he could get away with it.  He wasn't.  He couldn't.  He didn't.

Stay tuned for the next couple of weeks.  The final tally could easily double Tiger's record.  Let's just hope the rest of 'em are better looking than the abuela he impregnated.

The problem with Arnie is that he doesn't get women. All of them will tell you that its not so much the physical betrayal (though they don't like that either) as it is the emotional betrayal. Then there is the matter of respect. Having a one nighter is forgiveable. An ongoing affair? Not even close. Its a question of intimacy. Then there is the issue of doing it in HER house. A business associate, a sceretary maybe. But someone who changed her kids diapers and probably had sex on Maria's bed? All it would take would be one woman on the jury and she would have walked on a murder charge. You'd think Arnie would get that. If you have to be an alley cat, at least keep it one hundred miles from the flagpole. Its not like he should be shocked by the outcome. Upside, the women of America now have someone they hate more than Edwards, and I thought that would be impossible. ;D
