Whilst growing up my dad always had the flag up for Memorial Day and Memorial Day Weekend. That display also included 4th of July & Veteran's day. Is your flag out?

mine would be if I was home. Even in Peru I fly my flag. all my neighbors know exactly when our independence day is. ;D

They toward up my front yard to replace the water pipes and with it they tore out my flag pole.
I'll have it up by 7/4.

If it stops raining I will

No, I don't have my Flag out for Memorial day, I have my Flag out, the date is irrelevant.

No. (sigh!) As I hang my head in shame, I confess the bracket is broken, and have not replaced/repaired it. I fly my flag year round, 24/7, I've even installed an automatic light to illuminate it. But the weather has been nuts around here and it didn't survive one of the recent storms.

I was married to a woman who had a little girl. The little one was 1.5 yrs when we got married and we were married 3 years.
Each day, as soon as she was able to walk, she helped me put up and take down our flag.
She started Montessori school at 3 or so and each day of school the kids took turns with a pair of them raising and lowering the classroom flag.
The teachers commented that little Lauren insisted on helping what ever pair was on flag duty each day, making it a 3 person team.
Had to be proud of that little one.
She married a Marine.

what tom said, as long as the weather is not "nasty" my flag is out.
-
I am not home right now and I am pretty sure the (better half) wife has it flying.
-
Put one out everyday, bring it in at night/ or foul weather.
Seems it has gotten contagious, as more flags are up on non-holidays in my neighborhood.
and there are NO Obama/Biden stickers around either,.....

Flag is out all the time! I replace it twice a year as the cheap chinese made dyes start to fade.

Just put it up. Planning on being home by 2100 and it doesn't sound like it's going to rain too hard today. (hopefully) we still have like three million sandbags to fill

Well-made flags....and worth the money.

Well, I DID vote Yes, but the truth is I am at my Dad's home in Mesa, AZ, and I put his flag out this morning at sunrise. Back at my place I think my bride, Bunny, probably had our flag flying, too. Spent the day with retired USN Captain brother-in-law and my sis and they had the flag flying too. Nearly every home on his street was showing colors. On Dad's street, it was down to maybe 25%.
