For those who enjoy the printed word, I'm reading a book which may be of interest to others. Entitled "One Second After," it is about a very serious SHTF scenario. The story follows folks from a real town, (Black Mountain N. Carolina) following an EMP attack on the United States. Not the most well written story, and with some technical goofs, but a compelling story none-the-less. Some of the scenarios involving armed citizens and local militia, will make you stop and think. Supposedly it may be made into a movie soon.

My wife just finished reading it last week and was giving me a synopsis each day. I suppose I should actually read it............ she asked if my ammo supply is up to date after finishing the book.

Hey FQ13, married 36 years, she has never fired a gun in her life but will let me buy anything that I want.
She buys books, I buy guns.
Should I keep her?

Given that I buy both, I'd ask if you'd make an offer. Hell, if she likes dogs, cooking and fishing she's perfect. ;D ;D ;D
