Title: DPMS Panther™ LR-308

I am currently saving up for the Panther LR-308, and wanted some input as to any known problems with DPMS or other AR rifles in 308.

If you have an AR-10 or know of any problems with them please let me know.

The gas system design makes for a dirtier action that one operated by a gas piston, but that is true of all AR's regardless of caliber.

Pure crap.  Totally worthless..   ;D

Now, with that out of the way.  I have the AR-10.  Love the rifle.  As with anything magazine fed, magazines are the weakest link.  I also hunt with mine, and there is a picture of a nice deer that I took this year with it.  I have had zero issues with mine.  I have several friends that run them for hunting, and some just to shoot, and not one issue yet between all of us.
