Bank of America Gets Pad Locked After Homeowner Forecloses On It
Collier County, Florida -- Have you heard the one about a homeowner foreclosing on a bank?
Well, it has happened in Florida and involves a North Carolina based bank.
Instead of Bank of America foreclosing on some Florida homeowner, the homeowners had sheriff's deputies foreclose on the bank.
It started five months ago when Bank of America filed foreclosure papers on the home of a couple, who didn't owe a dime on their home.
The couple said they paid cash for the house.
-------------------
So, how did it end with bank being foreclosed on? After more than 5 months of the judge's ruling, the bank still hadn't paid the legal fees, and the homeowner's attorney did exactly what the bank tried to do to the homeowners. He seized the bank's assets.
:D :D ;D :D :D

Yea, I told BofA to kiss my big white Irish butt about five or six years ago! Worst bank in the US for the "little guy"!
When I moved, I found a bank locally that refused to take bailout money. In fact, they actually advertised it!

I think they were reimbursed for ALL legal fees, time and trouble,....etc,... I wonder how fast the Bank Manager wrote that check,...

Probably within 30 seconds of getting off the phone with the Corporate Legal Dept.!!!! ;D
Love this story, it is virtually all over the net at this point. You cannot buy (negative) publicity like that!!!!

I love this story. Bank of America is the most predatory bank in the country.

Its why I have always used credit unions. There is exactly one branch and I know everyone by name. There is no corporate office. The interest rates may be a bit lower and I have to pay at every ATM I use, but its a trade off I'm happy with.
