Title: If you were trapped on a desert island with only three bands.....
Post by: fightingquaker13 on June 04, 2011, 10:13:07 PM: Who would they be? I'm talking the whole catalog, every bootleg and outtake. Me I am very torn, but I've narrowed it down to three.

1. Emmylou Harris,
2. Silly Wizard (the best Celtic band on the planet)
3. Gillian Welsh.
Leaving out Hank and Johnny and Willy and Townes pained me, but that's the point of the exercise. Who speaks to you, and who can you listen to over and over again? Remember, just three bands' oeuvre, no choosing by songs. What's the verdict?

Dude, you don't get the artists, just the music dumbass! Though my choice of Emmy Lou and Gillian is looking better by the minute. ;) Let me rephrase this. You get an ipod with all of their music (no porn celebrity nude shots either!) thats it. ::)

If nothing else they could help keep the Junkies and Drunks in line. ;D
