FINALLY got here. Not SURE it's "tactical", but why not? It's a scoped, suppressed rifle, with a 2 stage trigger. Just one that doesn't use gun powder. ;)
I was going to mount an Eotech I've got laying around on this, but the included scope is actually VERY clear! And has mil dots, so it's worth a try to me. Even the clicks on the adjustable turrets are actually pretty crisp and firm. Maybe the chinese are getting their act together. :-\
Came in perfect shape, the scope was unmounted, and had a standard set of weaver rings on it, and the actual mount intended to be used with this rifle was in another compartment of the box all its own.
The 1 pc. scope base has a set screw with a point on it that acts as a stop to keep the base from moving on the rail. You can see the hole where the screw is located at the bottom of the rear ring.

I cleaned the threads in the holes and all the screws with alcohol, and applied 242 to all of them prior to assembly. The rings have a "friction adder" layer of felt like material in them, so no lapping or anything needed, and the one pc base makes things WAY SIMPLE! Got everything lined up perfect with the levels, and it was together in no time.

Because the stop screw used in the one pc base I had to set the scope kinda far forward in the rings to have proper fit for me. I also raised the adjustable cheek support on the stock to it's top notch. "Made in USA"... I don't remember the last time I saw that on something! :(

All ready for the range tommarow. Instructions say it requires "up to 100 shots for proper break in". So it shall be! And I'll take the Chrony with me to.

Curious about how the scope performs, as I am looking at one of the Center Point's at wally world, just for a plinking Marlin rifle I have.
