Ah, yes, the joys of the great state of kalifornicated. >:( Anywhere else - say, here in ND - the gun would have been in your Dad's hands and bullets would already be resting in their new backstop home. Oh well, wake me when you have something to report then. 8)

Hell, even here in MA or CT, it's just a paper transfer. Fill it out and mail it in, takes about five minutes and a stamp and you're good.
