He loaned a SEMI auto AR to a guy and it went full auto at the range, When he saw it at the Police station the bolt carrier had had some grinding done on it. See the thread here "GUN RIGHTS UNDER FIRE" also Mr. Olofson posted extensivly on www.thehighroad.org  including documents

I've never heard that doing anything to a bolt could make an AR shoot full auto.  The news story said this malfunction does happen in older AR's and made no mention of modifications.  Scary!
