You never heard anything about this until after it was over did you?  Yes they knew it was coming.

I've known about it for a couple of days. When I found out it was too small to see with the naked eye, I lost interest. Everything I read about it (NASA, and astronomy websites) indicated that it wouldn't have made it through the atmosphere intact, if it had hit Earth.

That's the downside of concentrating your attention on political news, you miss out on a lot of other cool stuff.
As for your paranoid title, well, just because you didn't know about it doesn't mean others didn't.  ;D
Not saying your wrong about the voters being "fat, dumb, and happy.
You just haven't found the "so called smoking gun" here.

Certainly brings up the question.  What good would it do if it was going to hit and they actually did tell us?  They can't predict to any kind of pin point WHERE it'll hit.  Soooooo, why cause mass histeria, crime, looting, cats and dogs living together in peace? 

I really can't see them ever letting us know.  And even if amatures saw it coming it'd be easy enough for Obama's boys to keep the press hushed for a few days / weeks.
