(Michael, Marshal, Marshalette and Montegna)
Just finished watching the premiere of "Gun Stories", and I'm thinking it may become my new favorite show!! Great content, beautiful production values, interesting interviews, and Joe Montegna. What more could you ask for?
Congratulations guys, you hit this one out of the park!!

+1 tt.
Very well done, 4 M's have another hit for the Outdoor Ch.

Got church tonight, but the DVR is set.......... I forgot the new seasons of some show starts today.....it's a good thing the OC plays each show several times through the day and night.

It's a miracle we all don't drink more than we do!
Thank you all!

You have plenty of daylight left to correct that situation, Michael. ;D

Hell of a line-up of talking heads - Supica, Nugent, Atwater, Hackathorn, Loughridge, James, etc. etc. etc.
Damn fine show, great topic too - the JMB 1911. Well done, M's.

MB,
Superior production. The look and feel is has that 'ready for prime time' quality. Sets are great, well lighted, filming is top notch and so is the writing. All in all a compelling program with a documentary feel. Kudos to you and all who labored on this. You have set a new and very high standard.
BUT..... (hey, it's ME so you knew it was coming ;D )
The only 'nit' I could find to pick was the banners (don't know the proper terminology) that show the commentators name. WHO picked WHITE letters on a LIME GREEN background? Very difficult to read (especially for old eyes).

Yep, good job indeed guys. Have at least one more tonight in celebration.

I think it is Outdoor Channel. It matches their logo in the bottom right corner.

Just watched Gun Stories. Very impressive production values, good writing, good photography. I think you've got a winner there. It almost made start to like the 1911 again...almost.
-
Finally watched it and all I can say is, "Home run, MB and crew....... and not just a regular home run, Gun Stories is a grand slam!!"
Also, an excellent topic for the lead-off episode.
If the OC is smart, this is a keeper.

WOW!! just like everyone else said.
Perfect timing for the 1911 also!!
In addition to all the superb information and presentation, the slow motion videos were striking. Especially the shot of the .45 round leaving the gun and heading Down Range to the target and impacting.
I don't suppose you have those cameras available as "loaners" for Forum members? Maybe we can get one for the corner?
Thanks again for your work and congratulations of a sure hit.
