Maybe Bloomberg needs to do a NICS check on his MAIG (Mayors Against Illegal Guns) members....Not those "evil" law abiding gun owners.
Maybe we need a law to protect us from these Mayors....

Another Illegal Mayor

Mayor Bloomberg’s coalition just keeps showing itself to be considerably less law abiding than your average concealed carry license holder. Now the Carbon County District Attorney is charging Mayor Richard Corkery, of Coaldale, of 28 counts of possession of child pornography:
Nesquehoning police began investigating Corkery in April and say they found several pornographic images of underage boys when they searched the mayor’s computer at WLSH-AM radio.
Ah, liking the little boys I see. And, of course, Bloomberg lists him as one of his own.
When are we going to close this dangerous illegal mayor loophole? Shouldn’t Bloomberg be doing background checks on all his members? I think we need a law!

Puts a different twist on "it's for the children" doesn't it ?
With the exception of a few true believers in Marxism and socialism. this is what makes up the left, fools liars, perverts, and crooks.

Curiosity speaking: Has anyone checked to see how many of these "Mayors Against Gun Violence" have CCWs? A lot of states let elected officials, judges, DAs, etc get one on a "shall issue" basis. It might be a good research project for the NRA. ;)

FQ, several of the "Mayors" on Bloomberg's membership list are there without their knowledge, several others were voted out years ago.
Your question , as far as the rest go would be interesting.
As well as how many have armed guards like Fenty in DC and Newsome in SF.

Screw their CCW's. If I were an enterprising DA, I would look closely at the mayors on the MAIG list in my jurisdiction, and start poking around. Odds are better than 50-50, there is pure political legal gold there! ;D
