Title: Gould & Goodrich. After using it for a week..................... I Like It!
Post by: david86440 on July 19, 2011, 07:39:24 PM
Does anyone have a Gould & Goodrich holster?

Looking for feedback good or bad.

I have a left hand Gold Line 3 slot pancake ordered for my Sig 225 and was wondering what to expect.
I had to qualify last week for my CC renewal and decided to put my Sig on my permit but I didn't have a decent holster for it. Looking online I came across G&G and as I don't get out much have never heard of them.

Not top of the line but they're not bad, have had a couple of them and liked them.Of course everyone is different,i see them as a good value for the price point.

Like everybody else here, I have a box full of holsters that I thought were great at the time. :-[ I haven't dealt with G@G though I have heard good things. As always though, its what works for you. Right now? I am totally loving Don Hume. I cannot say enough good about the holster. Ask me in six months after I've worn it awhile and I'll probably find three things wrong with it, but so it goes.  Just get something that makes sense for you and understand that its never going to be perfect. CCW holsters suck by definition because they are always about a compromise. You'll always be looking for something better. But G@G seems a good place to start, as does Galco, Hume and Desantis.

Old line company with a very good rep.  Not had any dealings with them but ALL the gun writers who have give them high praise.  Would not hesitate in buying one for myself.

I have a leather lined cordura G&G holster. No problems with it but I hardly used it.

I had to renew my concealed carry last week so I added one of my SIG's to the permit and have been using my new G&G holster.

I've got to tell you that I am very pleased with it. It may just have something to do with the single stack SIG as I'm used to the Glock block on my hip. Either way, I'm very pleased with the quality, fit and function.

Being limited to 10 rounds there isn't much advantage in having a double stack magazine.
